Creative Golf will be joining the upcoming British Golf Show event as a first time exhibitor, taking place 2-3 October 2020 at Wycombe Air Park
Creative Golf Design provides design expertise and consultancy advice for new golf course projects and also to established golf clubs looking to improve or expand their facilities. They work closely with a couple of former European Tour players, Ken Brown and Paul Eales, and can involve them on projects when required.
Director and principal golf course architect, Ken Moodie, will be on hand during the show to meet visitors and discuss the services we can offer. Ken is a Member and Past President of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects.
Current projects include:
- The relocation of a Scraptoft Golf Club to a new site to make way for a new housing development. The golf club will benefit from a new 18-hole course, 9-hole par three course, full length driving range with target greens and a dedicated short-game area, as well as a state of the art clubhouse as part of the deal.
- The redevelopment of practice grounds at a few golf clubs, including two at Headingley Golf Club, to create new teeing areas, target greens and chipping facilities, using imported fill to pay for the project.
- Course improvements at several golf clubs, from course-wide bunker renovation projects to improvements on a single hole. Past and current clients include Royal Blackheath, West Surrey, Beau Desert, Thorndon Park, Alwoodley, Moortown and Lindrick.
- The design of synthetic grass putting courses, often known as Adventure Golf courses.
